Albemarle Area United Way has long believed that Live United means fighting for the hopes, dreams, and rights of all people. But for too long, inequity, violence, and racism have been allowed to go unchecked violating the lives of people of color. This grief is on full display across our nation and here, in our community.

Support the COVID-19 Response & Recovery Fund

Albemarle Area United Way Response & Recovery Fund is now accepting donations to support Pasquotank, Camden, Currituck, Dare, Perquimans, Chowan, Bertie, Hertford & Gates County residents needing access to critical resources including food, hygiene, childcare, and housing assistance during times of area-wide crisis, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

We held our first Keel Club Philanthropy Awards Dinner on November 7th to honor Bruce & Anna Biggs at the Carolina Center. The event was a speciall evening, and we were humbled to be able to use the event to present Bruce Biggs with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian honor in the State of North Carolina.
