Diana and her husband Doug live in Elizabeth and are the proud parents of two sons. They also have two wonderful daughter-in-laws and four fabulous grandchildren. Originally from New Jersey, this Yankee transplant moved south after graduating from Rutgers University. Diana is active in community organizations and has chaired many fundraising events. Diana also served as Executive Director of the Albemarle Area United Way where she learned the vital role of the organization and its agencies. Currently she is serving on the SPCA Board of Directors, is Treasurer of Kids First, Inc. and President Elect of the Elizabeth City Rotary Club. She is active in her church serving as a lector and coordinating teams for the SOULS feed the needy program. Currently, Diana is a real estate broker with Long and Foster of Elizabeth City. She enjoys traveling and ballroom dancing. Remember “There are shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one of them.”
Andy and his wife Karin are the proud parents of three daughters (Emma 13, Claire 10, Anna 8) and owners/operators of Monteroís Restaurant, Bar and Catering in Elizabeth City, NC, established in 2005. A member of the K-12 Culinary Institute Chef Team, Andy is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University (Norfolk, ë98) and has spent the last 25 years working in the food industry. Andy has also taught at Johnson & Wales University (Norfolk, Va), Culinary Institute of Virginia and Culinary Arts and Foods & Nutrition at his local high school.
